Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God relevant yesterday, today and tomorrow.

We believe the Bible was written for our good, for our faith and behaviour in this world and for understanding of our place in the eternal Plan of God. (1)

We believe in one God who created heaven and earth. (2)

We believe God is at once the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (3)

We believe God made man in His own image, (spirit, soul and body). (4)

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. (5)

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was: Born of a virgin (6), By the Holy Spirit (7), He was crucified (8), He died (9), He was buried (10), He rose again (11) and that He ascended to heaven (12).

We believe Jesus is first born from the dead. (13)

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ paid the price for sin so that we were no longer separated from God. (14)

We believe in the atoning power of the blood of the Lord Jesus for the redemption of all mankind and that the blood can be applied and works today. (15)

We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus, in his birth, death, resurrection by the power of Almighty God and confession of this truth brings man to salvation. (16)

We believe that the Lord Jesus is alive and ministering in the earth today through the work of the Holy Ghost to save, teach, heal and deliver the sons of God. (17)

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a separate experience from salvation and the baptism of repentance. We believe the evidence is seen in the speaking of other tongues and other gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in 1 Cor. 12:1-11 and that they are in operation in the church today. (18)

We believe in the soon visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to gather His church to save them from the judgment/wrath to come and that we will live with Him forever. (19)
